Working for one of the largest Caterpillar dealer networks in the world, I designed and managed the campaign for the 2014 Hastings Deering Apprenticeship Intake using targeted activity across local press and online, generating a record 2,400 applications for 88 available positions. I also developed and implemented a successful social media strategy with no allocated budget; Facebook page ‘Likes’ increased by over 310% and engagement by over 1,100% within a 12 month period. Due to budget constraints, I undertook all content creation (photography and video), and collateral design and artworking in-house using InDesign and Photoshop to reduce the use of external agencies; resulted in a budget saving of over $50,000.
